This ride will include some of the most technical roads and great scenery!  NC has the Tail of the Dragon, WV the Back of the Dragon, we have found the ”D**k of the Dragon”; tight technical turns and linked curves, but it’s just not as long as the tail. We will take US 30 east to PA 26 South - a nice twisty rural road and the site of the unofficial D**k of the Dragon. The lunch stop will be at “The Road Kill Café” in Artemas PA. Continuing down PA26 we will cross the Mason-Dixon into Maryland with a fuel stop and break near Little Orleans, Maryland, home of the East Coast Motorcycle Rally – formerly known as East Coast Sturgis.  Those wishing can take a brief side trip on down the mountain to Little Orleans, a twisty two lane winding down the mountain. After our leg stretch, we will head West on US40/MD 144 to Cumberland for another gas stop and then return to Rally Central via US 220,  a winding two lane  with a brief stretch on I-99 to avoid downtown Bedford.   MD run video   We will travel north via I-99 in late afternoon to Seltzer Powersports, for dinner, shopping and to join the locals on their 'Two Wheel Tuesday" ice cream run before a final return to Rally Central

The longest ride of the rally will head down US 30 West to Gettysburg. We will encounter lots of great turns and elevation changes on our way to the battlefield.  We should arrive at the battlefield between 11:00 and 11:30 for lunch on your own (location to be determined) and a brief visit to some of the battlefield sites. The ride will leave Gettysburg for the return at approx 4:00 PM. In order to allow more time at the Battlefield, dinner will be on your own on the road in Breezewood, PA, famous for its travel services. Alternate dinner arrangements will be made for those doing the shorter second ride.
